The Chamberlain History

Our history is rooted in the kind of quality and integrity that Mainers have come to expect. Chamberlain Homes
owner Elliott Chamberlain grew up as part of the Southern Maine community, and still holds a vested interest
in its future.

Having grown up with a love of carpentry, Elliott focused his early career learning the trade and honing his
skills working for local carpenter and contractors before successfully completing his first custom home.

In 1988 Chamberlain Construction Inc., was founded, and during the next four years the company
continued to grow its portfolio of custom homes in southern Maine.

With demand on the rise for a Chamberlain home, we began the first of several successful subdivision projects
while at the same time adding an excavating component to the business to ensure quality control
on each and every project.

Elliott's commitment to the community runs deep. Recognizing that development in southern Maine was
occurring in an inefficient manner he took steps to head in a new direction and become one of the first
developers to focus on planning, growth and development that help to enhance the communities of southern
Maine. With the support of the local officials, we began offering homebuyers a new choice –
a sense of community.

As 2006 came to a close Elliott set a new course for 2007 and beyond with the renaming of the
business to Chamberlain Homes. Our commitment to creating friendly and livable communities continues with
three new communities now underway – Dunstan Crossing, Cascade Falls and Ross Ridge –
and more on the horizon.
